Do images of gypsies with big earrings and crystal balls come to mind when you think of tarot readers? Have you ever been tempted by the psychic advisors who will tell you all kinds of juicy information for 10 dollars? Well both of these reader stereotypes are alive and well and I am proud to say, I am neither. I don't offer to tell you the name of who you will marry. Or your winning lotto numbers. What I can offer you is clarity. Sometimes life just gets overwhelming and we need someone to point us in the right direction. That's why I am here. My readings have been compared by many to a mini therapy session; they are interactive, often humorous and filled with tools for you to walk away with.

A little about me..
My name is Monika. With over 27 years of experience, I offer readings that are caring, insightful and completely confidential. I am a firm believer that a reading is interactive and that I learn as much from my clients as they learn from me. I was one of the founding members of the Daughters of Divination and have taught workshops on tarot and belly dance, and tarot/pendulum divination in the Bay Area. I have studied and taken workshops with Mary Greer, Rachel Pollack, Isabel Kleigman and Lon Milo DuQuette.
What is tarot?
I could go into the long and drawn out history of the tarot and its amazing mysteries. I just don't feel that is why you are here. If you do want to explore tarot in-depth, check out the books by people I know and love below.
The tarot is a tool. Like any tool, you need to know how to use it. The longer you work with a tool, the more it becomes a part of you; the tarot is no different. The images on the 78 cards represent all of our life's experiences and a reading creates a story with them. You will be amazed at how one little image can open up doors that have been closed for many years. The tarot is my favorite tool. With it, I can help create a new path for you to walk on.
